Currently Reading
Dangerous Duty of Delight : The Glorified God and the Satisfied Soul (LifeChange Books)
By John Piper
see related

I'm reading the above book in Spanish.  The author says it is our duty to be joyful.  God demands that we enjoy life through the Spirit, he says.  It's an interesting read, but I can see how someone who doesn't read it well could end up saying, "God wants me to enjoy this entire box of chocolates all at once."  Maybe.  But I doubt it.  Meanwhile, I just checked my e-mail and have exactly 666 messages in my inbox.  Somebody quick send me another to unjinx me!!!  Just kidding, I already passed the dangerous number of 616.  My uncle posted on the number 616 being the correct "mark of the beast," and here's an MTV article on the same subject.  While I believe in satanic forces and divine inspiration, I do not believe that any number/song/word itself contais power.  That's why I´m going to name my first kid a random number or collection of letters, like 455 or "FdSsKJi"  I will leave it up to the child to imbue meaning to the seemingly random arrangement of symbols.  Good or bad idea?  Seriously though, I love how communication works and how for instance, the letters J-E-S-U-S in that order hold no power, but how when uttered by certain souls at unknown, appointed times, they can get heated up to white hot and bring about tears, forgiveness and even miracles.  It's even crazier when one thinks that the letters aren't even the same in each language.  The word "Jesus" changes, from Swahili to Mayan to Chinese but the effects from the symbols often appear the same.  Crazy.

I enjoyed your picutre with the short hair, although yours is much shorter than mine. I would have commented on your other site, but I just wanted to let you know that I am pretty sure you can't name a child using numeric symbols. However, you could name your first-born Fourfivefive. That might be cool, but not as cool
