| | - Windmills When I was five, I used to make these radio ads for my dad's drugstore. My mom would then reward me by taking me down the block to Pamida where I would inevitably choose a Marvel® superhero (unless of course, I went to Ben Franklin to buy baseball cards). Since I had such success as a youngster, I thought I'd make another radio commercial. (Who knows, maybe my parents will bring me a pack of cards when they come to visit at the end of January)
[Commercial]
me: (whistling) .
CVM: What's going on?
me: Oh. I just signed up
Crazy-voice Man: For what? For the army? That's carayyyyzie!!
me: No, silly, for a the SxSw music festival (www.sxsw.com).
Crazy-voice Man: What's that? It sounds carayyyyzie!!
me: Oh. Don't you know? It's the biggest independent music festival in the whole wide world. I signed up today (before January 13th) and saved 10%.
Crazy-voice Man: 10% that's a lot of money! Wow. Music festival. Awesome. Can I come to? It'll be super carayyyzie fun times!!
me: Uh. I don't know. I'll have to go ask my mom.
Announcer: That's right, SxSw music festival is coming to Austin, TX from March 15-19. Get your tickets now and then tell Adam ASAP so he doesn't have to go with Mr. Crazy Voice! |
